In 1942, during the month of December, the crew of the RAF recon flight 300 is said to have taken a picture of a creature with unimaginable and unreal proportions. A lot of people called out the picture as being one of the best pieces of evidence which claims that giants exist, or existed in the past. But, the reality behind this image is quite different from the story which a lot of people were told.
Taking a look back in history, we are going to find that numerous ancient cultures worldwide believed in the existence of giants. Searching around a little bit, we are going to find numerous reports, links, or books which point to the chance of the existence of such mythological beings. The Bible has also suggested that these beings were probably real.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. -Genesis 6:4
And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come of the Nephilim; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. -Numbers 13:33.
One of the best evidence which backs up the alleged existence of these giants has been made in the year 1988, when one leading newspaper in Europe, the BILD.de, has published images of about a 38-centimeter long finger. This discovery raised countless questions, and it has been quickly reported as being unreal, although the evidence pointed in another direction. There was more evidence probably discovered in Africa.
One fascinating and enormous footprint was discovered over a hundred years ago when one hunter, named Stoffel Coetzee has stumbled across it in 1912, which he was hunting in that area. The granite block where this footprint has been located was described as ‘phenocrystic’ granite or coarse porphyritic granite that underwent several stages of cooling to become what it is nowadays.
Since its discovery, a lot of geologists were left stunned and amazed by the gigantic footprint which was left in ‘rough granite’ of about 4 feet in length. Also, it could not have belonged to a giant, right?
However, there is ample evidence all over the world which offers many materials to engage in a debate whether these creatures once roamed the Earth or not.
The great Norwegian mountain troll.
You probably came across one of the most interesting pictures, which is the one of the alleged Great Norwegian Mountain Troll. The creature which is depicted in the image is super enormous. However, is it real? Well, there is a short answer – no! You will probably ask why.
Well, take your time to read the whole story, and you will understand. Don’t you think that when an RAF recon flight identifies this being dancing around beneath them, they would not have taken more than only one image?
This image, which confused a lot of people to believe that giants are real, is a screen grab from one movie titled Troll Hunter. Maybe it is one of the best pieces of evidence which shows how easy manipulative images can create elaborate hoaxes.
One user of Reddit, nicknamed junglist313, explains the confusion which is created by this image.
He said that he is sorry to tell us, but this is 100% fake. He took the image from the movie Troll Hunter, and it seems like it matches up perfectly with the photo of the supposed giant. He also made an animation in order to further illustrate that. He mentioned that he was sad as he wanted to learn something more about that story, he wanted to believe.
This image, which is probably mistaken for unique, is from the movie Troll Hunter and as junglist313 explained it, the image of the move and the one of the alleged troll photographed by a FAR recon flight match up perfectly.
Although there are a lot of mysteries on our planet than we can ever think are possible, this image here is definitely not one of those mysteries, and it just proves that in the era of today, creating a hoax is easier than we can imagine.
